NASA co-principal Moses Wetang’ula has vowed nothing will stop the coalition from holding its planned rally at Jacaranda grounds tomorrow,28th November.
The Bungoma Senator rubbished orders by police who have declared the rally-slated the same day as President Uhuru Kenyatta’s swearing in-illegal.

“The meeting will be a prayer service for those who have been felled by police following demonstrations during Raila Odinga’s return,” Wetang’ula was quoted by The Star.
“We will neither relent nor be intimidated by the police ban. The meeting will go on as part of our push for electoral reforms.”He stated.
Wetang’ula, who is Bungoma Senator, said they do not believe in Kenyatta’s presidency and cannot support a leader who has been elected through illegitimate means.

Wetang’ula’s statements come after Nairobi County Police Commander Japheth Koome banned the NASA rally at Jacaranda ground,saying that opposition coalition had not sought permission to hold the rally.
Speaking at the police headquarters on Sunday, he added that the Opposition has not notified the police of the rally and to provide security as required by law.

This simply indicates there could be another bloody showdown as Police would be directed to disperse the meeting.
