NASA’s Tuesday rally will take place despite police ban – Wetang’ula

NASA co-principal Moses Wetang’ula has vowed nothing will stop the coalition from holding its planned rally at Jacaranda grounds tomorrow,28th November.

The Bungoma Senator rubbished orders by police who have declared the rally-slated the same day as President Uhuru Kenyatta’s swearing in-illegal.

“The meeting will be a prayer service for those who have been felled by police following demonstrations during Raila Odinga’s return,” Wetang’ula was quoted by The Star.

“We will neither relent nor be intimidated by the police ban. The meeting will go on as part of our push for electoral reforms.”He stated.

Wetang’ula, who is Bungoma Senator, said they do not believe in Kenyatta’s presidency and cannot support a leader who has been elected through illegitimate means.
