With all the pomp and lavishness befitting a child from the first family, president Uhuru Kenyatta’s first son, Jomo Kenyatta, married his long-time sweetheart Fiona Achola Ngobi in an elegant all-white ceremony held at State House on Sunday evening.
The invite-only wedding was kept out of media and public attention and guests are reported to have been barred from accessing the venue with any recording cameras or phones.

Reports that the wedding was held at Statehouse have however made a section of Kenyans agitated as they considered it “a People’s House.”
Other users, however, were quick to congratulate the newly wedded couple and wished them well on their next phase of life.
Achola is niece to Defence CS Raychelle Omamo and granddaughter to the late William Odongo Omamo; former minister for Agriculture, Minister for Environment and Natural Resources and a former Member of Parliament for the Bondo Constituency and Muhoroni Constituency.
