According to the Constitution, the Apex court is obliged to provide its full judgement 21 days after the reading of a summary judgement.
The judges found that the two separate petitions, filed by Harun Mwau, Khelef Khalifa and Njonjo Mwau, failed to illustrate how the repeat presidential election was flawed to warrant an annulment.
The seven-judge bench will give reasons and explain how it arrived at upholding Uhuru’s reelection.
The court is said to have retreated to harmonize their ruling on the different sections of the petition each judge was handling.
The judges are also expected to issue a detailed explanation addressing issues that were raised during the hearing, including whether the Independent Electoral & Boundaries Commission (IEBC) breathed the law in failing to hold fresh nominations ahead of the repeat poll.
