Ford Kenya party leader Moses Wetangula has finally revealed events that took place behind the scenes,forcing him and the other two NASA co-principals to skip Raila Odinga’s Swearing-in fete on Tuesday, January 30.

During the controversial oath-taking exercise,Mr Odinga promised to full disclose reasons of their absence at a later date.
Wetangula has finally spoken on the matter saying,i quote;
“We want to reiterate our unequivocal support to ensuring that electoral injustice in this country comes to an end. We indeed are fully aware of the online feud characterized by yesterday’s unfortunate events where our security details was withdrawn and our entourage blocked in a bid to intimidate us,” Wetangula said on Wednesday.

“We unapologetically reaffirm to our supporters that,we are strongly behind H.E.Raila Amolo Odinga and shall not be swayed by propaganda from the demagogic jubilee side. We are a people united and shall not be divided,” he added.
The Bungoma Senator has ,however, pledged his full support for his NASA co-principal Raila Odinga.
Earlier on,Ford Kenya Party said in a Tweet that the three coalition principals were locked up in one room to prevent them from attending the swearing-in;
“It’s quite unfortunate that our 3 principals security details was suddenly withdrawn, locked in one room, and their entourage to Uhuru Park blocked.”
“This will not stop our quest for electoral justice,” added Ford Kenya.
Explaining their absence to the press shortly after missing the inauguration on Tuesday, Kalonzo, Mudavadi and Wetangula said they failed to show up “due to circumstances beyond our comprehension and control.”
