US & Euro Envoys in Kenya Express Their View on Petition linking SC Judges to Misconducts

Heads of Foreign Missions in Kenya led by the US Ambassador Robert Godec and European Heads of Mission have expressed their view on the ongoing talk of a damning petition filed to the Judicial Service Commission(JSC) by executive director of Angaza Empowerment Network,Derrick Malika Ngumu.

According to the Daily Nation, the US and European Heads of Missions have today,September 19th, rubbished any emerging reports discrediting the Judiciary.

The diplomats have “condemned the reports regarding the judiciary terming them as Fake“,the Daily Nation reports.

The envoy also urged Kenyans to observe peace ahead of full Supreme Court judgment on August 8th Presidential poll.

The foreign envoy’s remarks come after serious questions have been raised on the integrity of Deputy Chief Justice Philomena mwilu and Justice Isaac Lenaola following a petition that linked them with massive judicial misconducts.

The petitioner accuses the two Supreme Court judges of holding secret meetings with NASA co-principals Moses Wetangula and the coalition lead lawyer James Orengo , a few days before the landmark ruling that saw Uhuru’s win revoked.
