Uhuru and Ruto make first public Appearance Since the Appointment of new cabinet

President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto on Tuesday made their first public appearance since the launch of the controversial cabinet appointments  on Friday last week.

The duo,together with Meru Governor Kiraitu Murungi attended the burial of three African Independent Pentecostal Church of Africa (AIPCA) bishops who died in a horrific accident at the Embu-Makutano road.

During the burial, President Kenyatta remained coy on politics but stated he and his deputy will continue to talk despite the persistent attack them.

On the other hand,DP Ruto touched on the issue of cabinet appointments by assuring his support for the Head of State.

Nonetheless, the DP thanked the Meru people for voting for the Jubilee government in the last two presidential election.

Meru leaders called on the two leaders to ensure that the Meru community was not left out when the full cabinet is constituted.
