President Uhuru Kenyatta has disclosed the one thing that would make him relinquish powers as Chief of the Armed Forces.
Speaking on Thursday,21st September,during a meeting with North Eastern leader,President Kenyatta maintained that he is still the head of state and dismissed calls made by NASA leaders to vacate office in the event that the repeat polls are not held within the 60 days deadline stipulated in the constitution.

According to Mr Kenyatta, he would only agree to vacate his office after Kenyans have voted and made a choice on their next President.
The head of stated cautioned NASA that they would not benefit even if they succeeded in sabotaging the repeat elections.
“If they frustrate the election, I’m telling them in broad daylight, Uhuru Kenyatta will remain President until Kenyans vote and decide another person to lead them,” the President warned.
The President also criticized the full judgment read by the Supreme court judges on Wednesday,terming it nothing short of a political coup.
