President Uhuru Kenyatta’s legal counsel Ahmednassir Abdullahi on Tuesday advised the National Super Alliance (NASA) on how they can take power from the ruling party.

Speaking after NASA leader Raila Odinga’s team declared interest for Bomas power sharing formula implemented, the self-proclaimed Grand Mullah opined that:
“When you want power BADLY have a long-term strategy and plan properly, ” posted the Lawyer on his Twitter page.
In 2005, the NASA leaders Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka, Musalia Mudavadi,together with President Uhuru Kenyatta and DP William Ruto were against the Bomas draft leading to the rejection of its final document in a national referendum.

The independence Constitution was changed in a 2010 referendum – ushering in a purely presidential system that had been opposed by Mr Odinga’s camp before they changed their minds and backed it.
On Monday NASA claimed that Kenyans were ready to reconsider the document, which the opposition coalition’s principals stated is, “what Kenyans wanted.”
The principals agreed last week that it is time the debate on the draft be brought back as they believe it is the best guide to end regular political conflicts blamed on the winner-take-all system.
