Supreme Court Judge Drafted Petition The to Remove CJ Maraga – Lawyer Nelson Havi

National Super Alliance legal Counsel Nelson Havi on Tuesday disclosed the judges who apparently took part in drafting the petition filed on Monday in Parliament seeking the removal of Chief Justice David Maraga and his deputy Philomena Mwilu from office.

In a tweet,Mr Havi indicated that it was one Supreme Court Judge and 3 Judges of the Court of Appeal.

He however remained coy in mentioning the names of the judges he alleges they participated in the drafting the suit.

According to Flamboyant lawyer Donald Kipkorir, Parliament is not in any position to remove the Chief Justice as the constitution is very clear on the process to be undertaken to achieve that.

He also condemned the media for “falling to a falsified claim,” claiming that the petition was filed by a “madman in a market.”

A petition seeking the removal of Chief Justice David Maraga from office has been filed with the National Assembly on Monday by one Lawyer Adrian Kamotho Njenga.

The lawyer wrote to Parliament  accusing Justice Maraga, Deputy Chief Justice Philomena Mwilu and five other members of the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) of violation of the Constitution, gross misconduct and incompetence.
