Supreme Court Gives Raila New Orders

The Supreme Court of Kenya has ordered NASA leader Raila Odinga to respond to a lawsuit that seeks to overturn the annulment of President Uhuru Kenyatta’s win of August 8th election.

Two business men Jackson Ndegwa and Edward Kings had filed a case at the Supreme court seeking to have the landmark reversed, but the case was rejected.

One judge of the Supreme Court will hear the case after the two businessmen successfully filed an appeal on the suit.

Deputy Registrar of the Supreme Court Daniel Ole Keiuwa directed the National Super Alliance (NASA) leader and the Jubilee Party to file and serve replies by close of business on Monday before a date is set for hearing.

Mr. Ndegwa and Mr. Kings want the majority’s decision overturned on grounds that it was erroneous.

The duo argues that the Sh12 billion budgeted for the repeat election will negatively impact Kenya’s economy.
