State House senior director of communications Dennis Itumbi(pictured above) has disclosed what is likely to happen after today’s full judgment on the August 8 presidential election petition which is to be released at around 10am..
According to Itumbi,who also doubles up as a state house blogger, the election date will most likely be moved from the earlier announced date of 17th October to a later date, October 26th.

“Tomorrow,Supreme Court Ruling at 10am
Prediction:Election date will change ‘due to the parameters set by the ruling
Look at 26th October,2017.No worries,it just means we can sing Happy Birthday to President Kenyatta as we cast our vote'”,read his post.
He added that the Jubilee administration did not have a problem with a change of date since it will coincide with the head of state
“26th Oct, 2017 is a good date. We can vote as we sing Happy Birthday to Uhuru Kenyatta,” Itumbi tweeted.
October 26th coincidentally happens to be President Uhuru Kenyatta’s birthday.
