Sossion Wants His Name Removed From ODM Party List.Here is Why

Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT) Secretary General Wilson Sossion has come out and requested ODM party leader Raila Odinga to remove his name from the parliamentary nomination list.

Speaking when he attended the swearing in ceremony of Baringo County Governor Stanley Kiptis, who was Eldama Ravine branch KNUT secretary general, Mr Sossion said that he had heavy commitments at the union, which demanded his presence.

“It is true I was proposed for nomination on ODM ticket to represent workers but I ask my party leader to give the chance to another person so that I can to engage on more commitments in the Union,” said Mr Sossion as reported by Nairobi News.

According to impeccable sources privy to the ODM ,the party is set to replace Mr Sossion’s name with that of former Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto, who lost his seat to former deputy speaker Joyce Laboso in the just concluded polls.
