Former US President Barack Obama has arrived in Kenya.He headed to kogelo village,in Siaya county on Monday morning where he is expected to inaugurate the Sauti Kuu Foundation’s project which comprises a sports facility and vocational training centre.
Security was been beefed up at the home with residents and journalists having limited access.

It wasn’t smooth either for Siaya Governor, Cornel Rasanga who got embroiled with Obama’s security agents after they attempted to frisk him before letting him through.
“I am the governor of this county, I will not be searched,” Siaya Governor Rasanga exclaimed after refusing to undergo security screening.
He was however excepted to walk past.

Obama will then leave for South Africa the next day where he will give a keynote speech in honour of the late anti-apartheid icon Nelson Mandela at the Ellis Park Arena in Johannesburg.
Obama was last in Kenya in July 2015, the only time he visited the country as president, to attend the Global Entrepreneurship Summit, an initiative of the American Presidency.
