Safaricom dealers respond to NASA boycott

Safaricom dealers association group have confessed that boycott calls by NASA leader Raila Odinga have negatively affected their business.

In a press conference held on Monday in Nairobi (pictured above), the workers under Safaricom Dealers Association banner have admitted that the country’s political impasse has led to the company’s dealers losing a lot of money and called upon politicians to solve the issues.

“We do not want to make our argument from a political position but we must admit that bad politics has affected business at Safaricom. We have made huge losses since we went into elections and calls to avoid our products have made it worse.
“We therefore appeal to the politicians to consider solving their problems in a manner which will allow us to run our business well so as to improve our economy,” they collectively said.

This statement comes days after NASA blacklisted a number of companies including Safaricom, Bidco Africa and Brookside for supporting what they termed as an illegitimate regime.
