Revealed:Why Joho visited Chris Kirubi days after Raila’s Visit

Mombasa governor Hassan Joho on Saturday paid a surprise visit to ailing business mogul Chris Kirubi.

The visit which is believed to be inspired by the new wave of building bridges initiative led by Opposition leader Raila Odinga who also visited the ailing businessman a week ago.

Although later in a tweet,Mr Kirubi disclosed the real reason behind Governor Joho’s visit;

“I had the pleasure of receiving a visit from governor of Msa county @HassanAliJoho at my home in Kilifi.”

“He came to wish me well as I continue to recuperate. We discussed matters of national interest, in particular nation building, investment and fostering cooperation. #AskKirubi” Added the businessman.

Joho also held discussions over a wide range of issues during his visit at Kirubi’s Kilifi home.

The successful tycoon sought treatment in the United States last year November and according to a statement issued by one of his companies (Centum Limited) , he has since been responding well to treatment.
