National Super Alliance (Nasa) leader Raila Odinga on Friday called on his supporters not to attack members from other communities perceived to support his arch-rival President Uhuru Kenyatta.
At a rally in Bondo to commemorate those who died in anti-IEBC demos, Mr Odinga urged his supporters not to make personal the political differences between him and President Kenyatta.

“Do not attack innocent people. That Kikuyu businessman here in Bondo is innocent. They have nothing to with what we are facing today. Please…please…please…please. No one, no Kikuyu, should be punished for the sins of Uhuru. If God punishes him, it will be him alone,” he said as quoted by The Daily Nation.
He also mentioned the Abagusii, cautioning supporters against targeting them because of acting Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i, whom he accused of looking the other way when police unleash terror to NASA protesters.
In the rally,whcih took place on Mashujaa day, he promised to give a “way forward” to his supporters on October 25, just a day to the repeat election he insists will not happen.

Mr Odinga accused the government of plotting to use the military to either coerce voters to take part in polls or vote themselves.
