Mr Odinga indicated that his tour gave him to articulate some of the grievances the country was facing to key American bureaucrats and politicians.
“I am very happy to talk to you. I have been in the US for the last ten days I have had the opportunity to meet the leaders in the state department, the Congress and at the Institute of Strategic Studies.
“I have met with American professionals and businessmen. I have briefed them about the situation at home, the kind of challenges we are facing following the bungled presidential elections,” he said.
The Opposition coalition has organized a grand reception of Mr. Odinga and urged its supporters to come in droves at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport(JKIA) to welcome him.
