NASA leader Raila Odinga’s daughter ,Rosemary Odinga, has broken her long silence following the unfortunate medical condition that left her bedridden for the better part of last year.
Rosemary spoke in the middle of a live radio call between Hot 96 radio hosts Jeff Koinange and Jalang’o, and her father Raila.
During her Father’s interview with the radio hosts, she interjected to wish Koinange a happy birthday, who happens to share the same birthday with the Opposition chief.
Raila’s interview later proceeded and focused on his birthday celebration and his 2018 message to Kenyans.
Ms Odinga, who had political ambitions before her illness, exited from the Kibra parliamentary race one month before the August 8th 2017 election, assuring her support to whoever wins the ODM ticket. The Incumbent MP Ken Okoth carried the day.
Rosemary suffered a mild stroke in February 2017 leading to her hospitalization at the Nairobi Hospital.
Initial reports indicated that she was having a brain tumor and on February 28 2017 she was flown to South Africa for further treatment.
On March 1st 2017 she made her first statement, thanking Kenyans for their get well messages and prayers.
Mr Raila later left the country to visit his ailing daughter and on arrival he shared photos of a recovering Rosemary .
A month later she announced, through a recorded video she posted on social media, that she had withdrawn from active politics following advice from her doctor.
She later jetted back to the country after close to two and half months of medical treatment in South Africa.
