Armed men on Sunday raided former Prime Minister, Raila Odinga’s Opoda farm in Bondo, Siaya County.
The thugs who reportedly cut through the fence are said to have stolen livestock; geese, sheep and goats.

Meanwhile, according to sources close to mediamax network, Odinga family cracked the whip by firing all security guards and casual workers for fear the theft could be an inside job.
The guards were later taken to Bondo Police Station on Monday to record their statements.
Siaya DCIO Samwel Cheruiyot confirmed the incident saying that no arrests have been made so far .
County Commissioner Joseph Narengo said his officers were interrogating the guards and workers who they suspect could have something to do with the robbery.
“We will soon establish who was behind the incident. Geese cannot easily be handled by strangers,” he said.

According to the county commissioner, the farm is heavily guarded by officers from the Recce Squad.
The officers from Recce were guarding the main house when the incident occurred.
