National Super Alliance leader Raila Odinga has maintained that he will not sign form 24A that the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission insists must happen for him to officially be removed from the ballot.

This was after the Electoral Commission on Wednesday,October 11, said that Mr Odinga had not officially pulled out of the race as since he was yet to sign Form 24A as required in the electoral (General) laws.
“We note that the Rt. Honorable Raila Odinga and his running mate sent a letter dated 10th October 2017 indicating that they had decided to withdraw from the fresh Presidential election. They, however, have not submitted the statutory Form 24A,” the IEBC statement read.
However, NASA CEO Norman Magaya rubbished the statement arguing that the requirement for one to sign Form 24A does not apply in the context of this election.
