Raila meets Chris Kirubi, Kenyans react [Video & Photos]

Opposition leader Raila Odinga on Tuesday paid a visit to business mogul Chris Kirubi at his Loresho home in Nairobi.

The former Prime Minister was accompanied by his lawyer Paul Mwangi during the visit to Kirubi.

“This morning I visited CKirubi who has recently returned from overseas where he had gone for medical treatment. It was great to see him in high spirits and we wish him all the best as he continues with his recovery,” Odinga tweeted.

The business man,who looked frail out of shape, said it was time for all Kenyans to work together towards a better nation.

“Earlier today my friend RailaOdinga paid me a courtesy call at my home. I am proud that he wants to leave a legacy of a united Kenya. It is time we work together towards a better nation,”Kirubi tweeted.

Mr Kirubi has been ailing from November last year.

His illness was first reported to staff at Centum Investments, a publicly listed firm for which serves as chairman and is majority shareholder.

Many Kenyans on Twitter thanked Odinga for visiting Kirubi and wished the billionaire a quick recovery after his return to Kenya.
