Baringo Senator Gideon Moi has finally spoken on the current political stalemate and has asked NASA Presidential candidate Raila Odinga not to disrupt the repeat presidential poll, stating that Kenyans are tired of the unending political atmosphere.
Speaking at Kapsang village in Uasin Gishu county,Moi said the repeat polls must take place to end the grueling political circus.
He urged the former Prime Minister to stop issuing threats of “there will be no-elections” and negotiate with other stakeholders to arrive on a level middle ground.

The Kanu national chairman argued that prolonged politics have stagnated the economy.
“The IEBC has set the date for the fresh election for October 26 and it should not be moved again. The election must be held,” Moi said as quoted by The Star.
The senator, who supports re-election of President Uhuru Kenyatta, on Saturday called upon Kenyans to remain united.

He said this should be regardless of the current political tension caused after the annulment of President Uhuru’s win of August 8th polls.
“We need to keep peace regardless of what is going on in our politics. We must remain civilized and keep our country intact,”Moi added.
