“I have heard what Kitui West wants, Edith Nyenze you will carry this seat in your shoulder and I will campaign for you.

Hiyo pesa IEBC mnataka kutumia mtupe tuwekee wananchi maji,” the NARC leader stated.

According to Kitui leaders, the late Nyenze’s wife ,Edith, is a clear favorite to clinch the seat, hence a by-election would merely be a formality.

The late Francis Nyenze passed away on Thursday, December 6, after a decade-long battle with Colon cancer.
