Major Blow To Nation Media After Losing One Of Their TOP Talents [Photo]

The Nation Media Group fraternity is mourning following the sudden demise of one of its most creative journalist.

Julliet Mutegi, one of the best online sub-editor of the Daily Nation, died on Saturday,September 1st,while undergoing treatment at Aga Khan hospital.

According to one of her colleagues Ng’ang’a Mbugua,Mutegi informed him,at the time she was admitted at Aga Khan Univerty hospital,that she had growths in her heart.

“After seeing the cardiologist, she sent me a message saying the doctor had found growths in her heart,” Mbugua said as quoted by Businesstoday.

According to Ng’ang’a Mutegi had been admitted for a while but strictly warned her colleagues from paying her visits at the hospital.

“However, she asked me to deliver either fruits or a get-well-soon card”,Ng’ang’a added.

“In mid-August, however, I sent her a message, asking whether she had left the company without informing me. She said she was on leave.

“A few days later, she came clean and informed that she was actually admitted at the Aga Khan University Hospital but she was not seeing visitors,” he further revealed.

NTV anchor Larry Madowo grieved her demise saying, “Speechless. Heartbroken. We worked in the same building & emailed often but never met. Now we never will”.
