Names of NASA Politicians Who have Declared to Support President Uhuru Kenyatta

A number of National Super Alliance (NASA) politicians has sworn to support President-elect, Uhuru Kenyatta in the event that he Supreme court rule in his favour.

Leaders from Turkana County including Turkana Deputy Governor Peter Lotethiro and Turkana Central MP-elect John Lodepe have come out and declared their support for Uhuru Kenyatta even as the hearing of the presidential petition at the Supreme Court is underway.

Peter Lotethiro is the deputy of Governor Josphat Nanok who together with MP-elect Lodepe were  elected under the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party.

Speaking at Eldoret Sports Club grounds during the swearing in of Uasin Gishu County Governor Jackson Mandago, the ODM politicians indicated that the support will be determined by the outcome of the petition filed by opposition chief Raila Odinga at the Supreme Court.

They argued that supporting President Uhuru’s win will be vital in ensuring that he completes all the projects he initiated in the Turkana region during his first tenure in office.

The hearing of the petition began today,26th August at a pre-trial conference before the seven Supreme Court Judges led by Chief Justice David Maraga.
