National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga has said the opposition coalition will not use violence and instead use legal and constitutional means to put pressure on the Jubilee administration to heed to its demands if President Uhuru Kenyatta wins the repeat poll.
In an interview with CNN, the opposition leader termed Thursday’s election a ‘sham’ insisting that NASA will only engage the Jubilee on how another election will be conducted within 90 days.

“If the government imposes itself on the people the people have a right to self determination the people also have a right to disobey orders coming from such a government therefore we will not go for violent confrontations with the government we will go for peaceful resistance,” Mr Odinga said.
The fiery ODM leader said that the opposition will on Monday, October 30 announce to its supporters the next course of action that it will take to pile pressure on the government to step aside.
NASA Split
He indicated that NASA the coalition is still united but noted it will be split into two branches including a parliamentary wing, consisting of MPs and senators and a resistance wing.

“We have our alliance, it remains a super alliance it has got branches , parliamentary wing involving members of parliament and senators, we are creating another wing; resistances movement to deal with civil disobedience and resistance, they will be unarmed, we will use legal and constitutional means to put pressure on the government,” Odinga said.
He maintained that the opposition is ready for dialogue with President Kenyatta but rubbished claims that NASA is angling for the formation of a nusu mkate government.
