Makueni Senator Mutula Kilonzo Jr on Saturday was involved in a bitter feud with netizens following his tweet on former President Daniel Arap Moi .
Kilonzo lauded the former Head of State for peacefully handing over power when he left office in 2002, but activist Boniface Mwangi was quick to reprimand the Senator for his comment,reminding him of the dark days during Moi’s era by.

“Former President Moi should be honoured for his service to the Nation & his decision to peacefully hand over power after the 2002 elections amid the loud chorus “Yote yawezekana Bila Moi,” wrote the Senator.
Boniface swiftly responded by stating that his (Mutula’s) father was made rich by Moi who,according to him,ruled by an iron fist.
Mutula’s comment comes after National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga on Thursday paid a courtesy cal to Mzee Moi at his Kabarak home.
According to a statement by Raila’s aide,Dennis Onyango,Mr Odinga’s visit was apolitical and only meant to take good wishes to Mzee after his knee surgery in Israel.
