Johnson Muthama has made the most unlikely of decisions and indeed in politics,there are no permanent enemies.
The former Machakos senator has hinted at a political reunion with his long time political nemesis,Governor Alfred Mutua, saying serving the people of Machakos should be the focus.

Muthama indicated he will have no problem working with the Machakos Governor so long as the he takes care of small business people.
“I want to send this message to Mutua…someone should tell him I will have no problem with him as long as mama mbogas pay Sh200 as tax per year and boda boda men pay Sh500,” Muthama said during a burial in Kangundo last Saturday.
“Otherwise let him know that only Jesus himself will end our wars,”he added as quoted by The Star.
Speaking at Kenyatta Stadium on Monday, Mutua replied he is happy that both he and Muthama care about the Common Mwananchi;
“My agenda has always been to improve the lives of the poor and I am very happy to hear that our former Senator is also concerned about the people. I am ready to invite him for a cup of tea so we can talk about how to together work for the people.”
Mutua maintained he has already waived taxes on small scale businesses and that he is open to take in any advice on growth.
