Amani National Congress (ANC) party leader Musalia Mudavadi on Sunday addressed the tricky question of whether he was ready to once again throw his weight behind his co-NASA principal Raila Odinga,following their cagey relationship after the ‘handshake’.
Speaking during an interview on KTN News, the ANC leader stated that he had no problem supporting the former Prime Minister again if the contemplates of vying for the Presidency in 2022.

“Why not? We are not enemies. We are in still in Nasa together. Sometimes we differ on principle and that is normal.”Mudavadi said.
“We have supported Raila twice- in 2007 and 2017, the only time I contested separately was in 2013.”I would not want to see NASA die. We have to talk candidly to each other on issues and start having consultations as well,” he added.
He further disclosed that they were working on regaining the confidence of NASA supporters.
“I hope ODM has the will to fix the issues that are there.There are some people who want to hide from certain things and they give a certain impression.
“Let the framework of national dialogue be put in place. ANC is a competitor for power in this country via a democratic process,” he explained.

Mudavadi stated that there was a need to deal with the wrongs of this society while upholding fidelity to the law.
“Any Kenyan who is concerned about the well being of our nation has every reason to worry- Impunity is in the air, deceit is in the air,” he divulged.
