Baringo Senator Gideon Moi has made an urgent plea to President Uhuru Kenyatta on how to deal with NASA leader Raila Odinga after the Supreme Court upheld his win in the October 26th election.
According to the Baringo Senator, reaching out to Raila Odinga and making peace with him is the only way he can contain him.

In a Wednesday statement, Senator Moi said Uhuru should follow the footsteps of the late USA President Abraham Lincoln.
“We in KANU are confident that you will rise up and extend the olive branch to those who hold political opinions contrary to yours, and in a spirit of brotherhood steer Kenya towards greater prosperity,” he said.
“We equate Kenya society to that of America which was fragmented by civil wars of 1861 to 1865. When Lincoln won the elections he put a plan for peace and unity that was flexible and generous,” he added.
Mr Moi said the president has his support even as he embarks on uniting a divided country.

“We assure you of our support and pray that the Almighty grants you the wisdom and energy to continue with your efforts to unite our country which is presently severely fragmented.”
The senator’s statement comes days after Uhuru visited former President Daniel Moi a visit at his Kabarak home in Nakuru county on Sunday ahead of the Court ruling on Monday.
Moi is considered to be Uhuru’s political mentor after publicly endorsing him in the 2002 presidential bid on a Kanu ticket.
Also present during the meeting was Baringo Senator Gideon Moi, who has expressed interest in succeeding Uhuru when his term ends in 2022.
