Embakasi East MP Babu Owino has launched a scathing attack on self-declared National Resistance Movement (NRM) General Miguna Miguna, calling a conman.
The outspoken MP claimed that the truce between President Uhuru Kenyatta and Opposition leader Raila Odinga angered Miguna as it effectively ended his public lectures in various cities around the world where he charged entry fees, sold merchandise and charged a fee to take pictures with him.

“Miguna Miguna is a sad man. Uhuru-Raila peace agreement put a drastic stop to his foreign public lectures which was a booming business where he charged entry and fees for those who took pictures with him. This con man must be exposed!” he tweeted on Tuesday.
Surprisingly, Miguna never got mad at Babu Owino for spewing wild allegations against him.He instead laughed off and reminded the Embakasi East MP that Raila himself had also held such events where he charged entry fees.

Babu sensationally claimed that Miguna was on an unnamed person’s payroll and maintained that he ‘fought for nothing’ , telling him to respect Baba (Raila).
Last month, the High Court had directed that lawyer Miguna be allowed back in the country to face his accusers, after he was deported for the second time, this time to Dubai.
