Self-declared NRM General Miguna Miguna has dismissed reports that some airlines have blacklisted him from any flights coming to Kenya.
Miguna stated that the reports were defamatory, adding that he had instructed his lawyers to establish the authenticity of the claims.
One alert seen by kenyanwiki, but whose authenticity we could not verify, was purportedly authored by Qatar Airways.
“I’ve seen a DEFAMATORY “Bulletin” ALLEGEDLY from QATAR AIRWAYS claiming that the “Kenya Airport authorities” [sic], has banned me from “entering Kenya.” I’ve not been duly served with any such “notice.” I’ve instructed my advocates to establish its authenticity and deal with it,” Miguna stated.
The lawyer has been stuck in Canada after he was forcefully exiled in February.
His efforts to return to the country with the strength of more than ten court orders have been unfruitful as immigration officials have declined to obey rulings made by various courts.
