Miguna Shares Worrying Email He Received

Outspoken lawyer Miguna Miguna on Monday shared screenshots of chilling emails he received from unknown person,threatening his life.

The email seen by kenyanwiki notified the National Resistance Movement (NRM) leader that he was under 24/7 surveillance even in Canada.

Tuna kuonya. Usipo wacha kumtusi rais, usifikirie hatuna watu mahala popote. Tunakuangalia ,”read  the email in part.

Loosely translated as:”…Be warned. Don’t insult the President again. We have people everywhere. We are watching you….”

The email went on to list five names of “International Premier Clients” whose identities we could not establish.

Nonetheless, the email listed the names similar to those of six prominent Kenyan personalities who died under mysterious circumstances.

The closing line of the disturbing email was written in a local dialect,apparently warning Mr Miguna not to joke with the government.

Miguna implicated President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto of being behind the email warning them that he would not be intimidated.

Miguna was deported to Canada after his citizenship got revoked following his participation in

swearing-in NASA leader Raila Odinga as the people’s president.
