When the self-proclaimed NRM ‘general’ Miguna Miguna was prevented from entering the country at the JKIA, NASA leader Raila Odinga rushed to the airport with Senator James Orengo and Jimi Wanjigi among others.
Odinga was however humiliated by police officers at the airport as he helplessly watched as Miguna getting bungled into a Dubai bound plane.

Efforts to reach President Uhuru Kenyatta via phone were futile.
In a new statement,the NRM general -who is currently receiving treatment at a Dubai hospital- has issues several pleas to his supporters and one being a strong demand from to Raila Odinga.
In his urgent plea,Miguna has demanded that the Former Prime Minister should not celebrate this Easter with President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto-whom he often refers to as despots- while he still remains holed up at a Dubai hospital.
“I Demand that Raila Odinga cannot and should not be enjoying Easter abroad and dining with the tyrants when the person who swore him in as The People’s President is being “murdered” by those who stole his election and who have killed and maimed his supporters.”Read his statement in part.

He further condemned the manner he was handled during standoff at the JKIA and eventually his deportation.
“Strongly condemn the violent, barbaric, inhumane, degrading, abusive and cruel treatment I have been subjected to by the illegitimate Jubilee tyrants and Emirates Air. Expose both robustly.”Miguna wrote.
Embattled Miguna announced that he would be making another attempt to return to Nairobi either on Thursday or on Friday next week.
