Former Nairobi gubernatorial candidate, Miguna Miguna, appears to have buried the hatchet with NASA leader Raila Odinga, if what he said upon his (Raila) withdrawal from the October 26th poll is anything to go by.
The once fierce critic of the Nasa leader took to his social media pages and lauded him (Raila) for opting out of the repeat presidential race.
Miguna thanked the former Prime Minister for his surprising turn of events and seemed to be looking forward to a constitutional crisis;
@RailaOdinga for creating a constitutional crisis; the SINE QUA NON for TRANSFORMATION. Let’s separate quacks from patriots!”Read Miguna’s post.
The fiery Lawyer also went ahead to state that Odinga’s move was unprecedented and caught President Kenyatta and his deputy unprepared.
“Both Kenyatta & Ruto are caught pants down with RailaOdinga‘s &
@skmusyoka‘s withdrawal – INTELLECTUALLY OUTGUNNED!”Miguna added.
Raila’s dramatic decision has led to contradicting interpretation from Lawyers on the way as far as politics in Kenya is concerned.
Whether the October 26th election will still take place or a fresh elections to be held within 90 days, is yet to be established.
Through a statement to newsrooms,the IEBC has confirmed to have received Odinga’s letter seeking to withdraw from the repeat polls.
The electoral body promised to give directions after deliberations with its legal team.
