Midiwo Opposes Raila’s Swearing-in

NASA leader Raila Odinga’s cousin Jakoyo Midiwo on Tuesday voiced his contrary opinion regarding the swearing-in on Raila and his deputy Kalonzo Musyoka.

While speaking at NTV during the AMLive Show, the former Gem Member of Parliament outlined that he would rather approach a non-violent move that would involve dialogue than a way that would instigate violence.

“I am of a different opinion. I would talk to Uhuru directly to stop the shenanigans, to stop the sideshows. To put all and sundry together and see how we can move forward,” said Midiwo.

“All of us must sit down and say what is right for this country,” he added.

He, however, warned the government not to take Mr Odinga’s quest to be sworn- for granted.

“This war cry, that nothing will happen on 30th…you will find yourself in a hole you can’t get yourself out of.

The Raila Odinga of August 8, 2017, is less popular than the Raila of January 2018,” Midiwo cautioned.
