Miguna Miguna’s triumphant entry to the country took a dramatic turn after he was held at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport(JKIA).
The stand-ff began when Police officers tried whisking him into an Emirates flight to Dubai but were met with resistance from a host of politicians and Miguna’s lawyers.

The fracas on the plane was then followed by a standoff between journalists and police which ended up with Citizen TV’s Stephen Letoo getting injured and Sophia Wanuna getting roughed up.
When Sophia and her cameraman Boni urged the cops to do their work and let them do theirs as journalists, the commanding officer tried to block the camera before sending out a warning.
Following the incident,Sophia Wanuna and Stephen Letoo have broken their silence on the ordeal which got them physically assaulted.
