Former Head of State Mwai Kibaki’s grandson, Sean Andrew Kibaki, on Tuesday sent out a rather surprising message about Kenya’s security officers ,a day after the drama that unfolded at the JKIA upon arrival of politician Miguna Miguna.
In a thinly-veiled referenced to the standoff at JKIA,the young Kibaki expressed his admiration for the various police units in the country for the kind of job they are mandated to do.

He further advised Kenyans not to obstruct justice whenever officers of the law come calling.
“I’ve always had high respect for the GSU Officers, Firing Squad, Special Branch, CID officer’s and many others who are friends in the Police Services of Kenya. They do their duty best to protect us from “sticky” matters… It’s best you physically don’t obstruct their justice,” Sean stated.

His sentiments came as a surprise considering majority of Kenyans expressed their rage over the conduct of police officials in their attempts to forcefully deport the NRM General,this time to Dubia.
There were also reports of several journalists being roughed up by GSU officers while covering the fracas.
