Through an article on Sunday Standard, daughter to the late Makueni Senator Mutula Kilonzo  asked Mr Odinga to stop poll boycott and go back to his greatest asset, which is the people.

According to Ms Kethi,Odinga’s failure to participate in upcoming election would benefit neither him, nor his supporters.

“A sustained electioneering period, beyond the 60 days mandated by the constitution and pronounced by the Supreme Court, will not in any way advantage you or the people you are seeking to vote.

The ardor of your supporters will be dampened. Their strength will soon be exhausted. Their spirit will wane,” she wrote.

The Sister to current Makueni senator Mutula Kilonzo Jr, quoted a famous adage by an ancient Chinese army general and strategist Sun Tzu who warned that the “object of war is victory not lengthy campaigns”.

According to her, street demonstrations by NASA will not give them, nor Raila, the victory that they are seeking, the only solution was for Odinga to face his nemesis in an election in order to easily expedite the current political impasse.
