Gatundu South Member of Parliament (MP) Moses Kuria on Thursday took netizens by surprise after sharing photos of himself alongside President Uhuru Kenyatta’s daughter, Ngina Kenyatta.
President Kenyatta’s daughter had toured Kiambu County as an ambassador for the Kenyatta Trust to give her support for Kiambu women self-help groups.
The MP was outraged by the comment and dismissed the follower seemingly advising him to stay away from his post.
One of his followers commented;
Moses Kuria seemed vexed looking at reply he gave to the one Kibaku Kibaku;
In his post, Moses Kuria outlined that they had ,managed to award 17 women’s groups with cheques to fund their projects .
“Today (Thursday) I presented cheques to 17 women groups, beneficiaries of the Gatundu South Uwezo Fund. The groups are members of the Inuka Women Self Help Initiative which was founded and has been nurtured by the Kenyatta Trust.
“To further support the groups, I pledged to partner with Inuka in rolling out the pilot for Maisha Kilimo Project in Kahuguini Primary School.
“Maisha Kilimo is a partnership between Moses Kuria Foundation, Gatundu South CDF, public schools and community groups whereby the community groups will use idle land in public schools for farming in dairy, poultry, chicken, greenhouse and other crops,” the MP’s post read.
