National Super Alliance (NASA) deputy Leader Kalonzo Musyoka on Saturday made a request to leader Raila Odinga and his political foe President Uhuru Kenyatta to engage in dialogue in order to end the current political turmoil.
Speaking during an exclusive interview with the Sunday Standard at his Karen home, Mr Musyoka said that he was ready to initiate dialogue between the two leaders.

The Wiper Party leader further noted that a parallel oath taking by the National Super Alliance (NASA) would be the last option if dialogue does fails.
“My brother President Uhuru Kenyatta, and I am calling him ‘president’ in quotes because he has the instruments of power at the moment, and my brother Raila Odinga, the time has come for us to sit and talk this one out.
“If Uhuru and Raila cannot come together, I hope they will allow me to bring them together so that they can look at each other in the face. These are people who have worked together in the past,” he stated.
He, however, explained that diplomats and the church should not participate in the dialogue.
“That ought to be the priority, electoral justice! There is no point of participating in an election with a pre-determined outcome. Everything that I have said can be discussed if we meet,” Kalonzo noted.
Addressing NASA’s planned parallel inauguration, Mr Musyoka noted that the coalition will proceed with the swearing-in if dialogue does not yield fruit but hoped that the talks will yield fruit.
“If that does not work, we move to self-purification stage where non-violent approaches will pick. The last is direct action but I do not wish we get there,” he explained.
During the interview,Kalonzo thanked Kenyans for praying for his ailing wife stating that, ” She’s getting better, and thanks to prayers and support of everyone”.
