Wiper Democratic Movement leader Hon Kalonzo Musyoka jetted out on Sunday to be part of a four day Presidential Election Observer Mission exercise in Asia under the umbrella of Centrist Democrat International (CDI).
CDI a global international political group dedicated to the promotion of Christian democracy, with members drawn from Europe and Latin America.

Kalonzo will represent the African continent in a 24-member observer mission team for the Presidential Elections of the Republic of Azerbaijan to be held on April 11th 2018.
This will be Kalonzo’s second mission after a similar one in September 2013 in Sri Lanka under the Commonwealth umbrella through the Secretary-General Kamalesh Sharma.
“Service to humanity in any capacity is always welcomed, we have undergone a grueling elections, the longest by all means, being appointed to offer service at this level is humbling; Kenya plays a pivotal role not only in Africa but World peace” said Kalonzo.

In the latest assignment, CDI is banking on Kalonzo’s vast experience in diplomacy, political and public service.“For your records, we are a group of 24 observers from all continents, most of which parliamentarians with vast experience in observing elections all over the world” reads part of the letter inviting him.
The observer mission team is scheduled to meet the Central Election Committee on 10th April in Baku for a briefing on the campaign and on the elections to be held the very next day 11th April.
