The media fraternity is yet again in mourning following the death of a Mediamax Network Limited reporter in an accident.
K24 and People Daily reporter Robin Obino met his death on Thursday afternoon after he was knocked down by a speeding vehicle along Thika Superhighway.

The sad ordeal occurred near Muthaiga Police Station at around 2 pm while he was on the trail of a sensitive story involving a girl from Ngara Girls High school who went missing.
“He was on the beat with other colleagues who work for K24 but he was left behind so he took a matatu.”a colleague told The Star on phone.
“It appears he alighted past where he was supposed to and was knocked down as he attempted to cross the road,” the colleague added.
His body was taken to City Mortuary as family and friends gathered to prepare for his burial.
Messages of condolences from members of the media fraternity to the family of the deceased have began streaming in even as preparations for his funeral are ongoing.
