Jubilee Party is ready to form a coalition government with Orange Democratic Movement(ODM) untill the 2022 general election, National Assembly Majority leader Aden Duale has stated.
Speaking at Parliament on Thursday, the Garissa Town MP said President Uhuru Kenyatta’s party is ready to work with Opposition Supremo Raila Odinga but on condition that he does not complicate Deputy President William Ruto’s 2022 presidential bid.

Duale issued these remarks while backing a motion by National Assembly Minority leader John Mbadi (Suba South) on starting a campaign to unite Kenyans in the spirit of backing Uhuru-Raila pact deal.
“We are ready to form a coalition with ODM in a serious, structured way if they agree to get a running mate. Mr Speaker [Justin Muturi], we are ready for any group in Nasa that is willing to join our side as long as they take number two or any other position,” Duale said.
“I am ready to quit and give my position to ODM. [We can also give] any other position … Speaker, minister, DPP and the like.”He added,
Duale further noted that Jubilee’s aim is for DP Ruto to win the 2022 election Presidential election,with even more than 3 million votes.

He said bringing ODM on board is key to end the current political impasse.
Mr Odinga has been eyeing the top seat since 1997 and according to impeccable sources close to him,he may be bracing himself for another attempt in 2022.
But Raila’s unity pact with the Head of State will significantly change the political landscape in the country and reports indicate that Ruto’s allies are worried.
