The bill is being fronted by Tiaty Member of Parliament William Kamket.

The CS without portfolio ruled out any possibility of a referendum to create the positions saying the party will lobby its members in Parliament to reject the bill.

“There are those talking about the possibility of having a different Executive structure. But as far as we are concerned, and at this point in time, our focus is jobs … opportunities for our young people … prosperity for our people”, Tuju said.
