Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho has been a staunch NASA leader who has stuck with Leader Raila Odinga through thick and thin.He has been a fierce critic of the Jubilee administration to the extend him and President Uhuru Kenyatta don’t see each other eye-to-eye.
However, since the swearing-in of President Uhuru Kenyatta, the Mombasa Governor has been on the periphery of meetings held by the coalition.
Speaking to a popular online magazine ,Joho’s Communication Director and former NTV journalist Richard Chacha (pictured above) has clarified that despite his absence in NASA public gatherings, he is still a part of the coalition and has been involved in all the recent decisions made.

“The Governor has been held up with meetings that involve his responsibilities towards Mombasa County development,” Mr Chacha stated.
Chaha added that the Governor traveled out of the country last week for official duties.
“He has been involved in the negotiations of the swearing-in of NASA leader Raila Odinga and he supports his party,” added Chacha.
Though Joho has been silent in most of meetings held by the opposition coalition, the ODM deputy party leader still remains loyal to the coalition and according to NASA principal Musalia Mudavadi,he even offered a venue in his county to be used for the swearing-in of his party leader Raila Odinga.
