“Initially President Kenyatta spoke about respecting the Courts decision, but sadly in subsequent statements, he attacked the judges as ‘crooks’ and vowed to ‘fix’ the court if re-elected”, read his opinion in part.

The former Massachusetts Senator also called upon all Kenyans, especially the political elites to act responsibly and ensure the upcoming electoral exercise is held smoothly and peacefully.

Kerry further urged President Uhuru to avail the necessary financial resources for the repeat polls and also provide adequate security for the IEBC officials, before, during and after October 17th.
