Speaking to reporters after training of Returning Officers from Nyanza, IEBC Commissioner Dr Roslyne Akombe on Sunday revealed that the IEBC plans to visit all Nasa strongholds to establish how NASA’s calls for no election will affect the voting exercise.

Dr Akombe said that the “no reforms no election” agenda by NASA cannot be downplayed and needs public and internal IEBC consultations to find the way forward.

“The trip was to make an assessment on the ground and listen to the county election managers in the counties over the issue of no elections,” Akombe said.

“We will be forced to collect public views and consult internally to determine whether there will be elections or no elections.”She added.

The IEBC,through their official social media pages, also announced that the commission will be unable to transmit both text and image copies of Presidential results but will relay image results of form 34A & 34B instead due to time factor.
