A 23-year-old woman has paid dearly with her life,on Saturday evening, after refusing to marry an infatuated GSU officer attached to President Uhuru Kenyatta’s escort .
Police say the officer murdered Ms Anne Wanjohi -who assisted her sister to run a cyber cafe known as Web Link Cyber within the CBD- before attempting suicide by shooting himself in the chest and left bicep.

Those who witnessed said the officer went into the Cyber Café and found Ms Wanjohi attending to a client.
“Anne was attending to a client but he insisted on talking to her. She said she was busy and needed to finish with the client,” Mr Hinga said as quoted by the Daily Nation.
He added that when he was dismissed, the officer stormed out of the cyber café and told Ms Wanjohi he would be back in a jiffy.While he was away, he kept texting her.

When the officer came back,he found Ms Wanjohi getting her things together ready to leave.
He tried talking to her but she didn’t want to listen,that is when the he pulled out a gun and shot her in the hand.
“When Anne tried to get away, he shot her again and again as he threatened to shoot the other people who were in the cyber café and those who came to see what was happening,” he said.
Mr Hinga said he scampered for safety when Njau pointed the gun at the people who were standing at the scene.
The sick incident adds to the high cases of police officers committing suicide or killing their friends, relatives, lovers and colleagues using their official duty firearms.
