The High Court,on Tuesday, has temporarily lifted ban by Acting Interior CS Fred Matiang’i on protests in the CBDs of three counties.
The suspension follows a case filed by National Super Alliance Chief Executive Officer Norman Magaya.
Justice Chacha Mwita also issued temporary orders stopping police and the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) from arresting and prosecuting NASA Chief Executive Norman Magaya.

The matter is set for inter parties hearing on October 25.
NASA leaders called off anti-IEBC protests on Tuesday to enable them attend to supporters who lost their loved ones and those injured during confrontations with anti-riot police in previous protests.
In a statement, NASA announced that the protests will resume on Wednesday in major towns and will target the main city centres in defiance of CS Matiangi’s order.
